The Nevada County Sheriff now offers an eay, streamlined online application process. Click on this link for more information on starting your Nevada County CCW application process, as well as submitting your application online through the Permitium system which the Sheriff's Department now uses for all applications (initial CCW and CCW Renewal). The links provided below will enable you to open an informational pdf document for your Nevada County Concealed Weapons Permit. The application below will NOT allow you to save the information within the document, and will not allow you to save the completed application to your computer. Please print the document when you have it completed. All information that you fill in will be lost, and you will not be able to retrieve it. The first pdf document contains information which may disqualify persons from obtaining a CCW Permit in Nevada County (and California). There may also be other conditions present which may also disqualify you for a Nevada County CCW permit.
